Celestron publishes the 93230’s field across the range, 40 to 60 degrees, along with 15 to 18 mm of eye relief. The 40-degree figure at the long end is the weak point of every zoom, and Celestron states it.
Celestron’s own advice: find and center an object at 24 mm, then grip the rubberized barrel and turn it slowly to the best power. On a 650 mm reflector that is 27x to 81x.
