The Colorado 15-40x50 is under 10 inches long, straight-bodied and rubber-armored, with a folding mini tripod and a soft case. Barska sells it for birding, the shooting range, sports and concerts, and lists astronomy among its uses.
Fully coated glass and a BK-7 porro prism. That combination places it at the budget end: fewer coating layers than “fully multi-coated”, and a prism glass that can trim the edge of the light cone. The field at the low end is 150 ft at 1000 yd.

For the Moon at 15x to 25x, yes. For stars and planets the 50 mm aperture and high-power exit pupil limit it; an 80 mm spotting scope or a telescope does more.
The prism glass. BK-7 can slightly clip the light cone at the edges; BaK-4 gives a round exit pupil. At this price, BK-7 is expected.
Barska gives 150 ft at 1000 yd, about 2.9 degrees, which applies at the low-power end of the zoom.
