The SV28 new version is a 20-60x80 spotting scope with fully multi-coated optics. SVBONY publishes the field at both ends of the zoom, 108 ft and 54 ft at 1000 yd, which most budget listings omit.
A desktop tripod, a smartphone adapter, lens and eyepiece covers (the eyepiece cover is tethered so it is not lost) and a handbag. The scope has a 1/4-inch tripod thread and a twist-up eyecup.
At 60x, a desktop tripod is too small and too light; any full-size photo tripod with a 1/4-inch screw is the first upgrade. Amazon’s item data gives about 1 kg (2.3 lb).
