SVBONY Gold Line set review
SVBONY's Gold Line set: four 1.25-inch eyepieces of 6, 9, 15 and 20 mm with a 66-degree field, full multi-coating, edge-blackened optics, foldable eyecups and two dust caps each.
Four eyepieces of 6, 9, 15 and 20 mm, each with a 66-degree apparent field. That shows about 1.7 times more sky than a 50-degree Plössl at the same power.
Coatings and blackening
SVBONY states FMC (fully multi-coated) lenses and edge-blackened, internally blackened optics, which cut internal reflections and lift contrast on the Moon and planets.
In the box
The four eyepieces, two dust caps each and a spare rubber eyecup. The eyecups fold down for glasses. There is no Barlow, filter or case, and no eye-relief or element figures.
Against the 68° set
SVBONY’s 68-degree set shares the focal lengths. On November 7, 2026 this one cost $124.99, the 68° set $134.99.

What observers ask about this one
Is 66° worth it over a Plössl?
Yes, for most observers. The wider field shows about 1.7 times more sky than a 50° Plössl at the same magnification, which makes tracking and framing easier.
Do they fit my diagonal and Barlow?
They are standard 1.25-inch, with filter threads, and fit any 1.25-inch diagonal, Barlow or focuser.
What powers will I get?
On a 650 mm reflector: 108x, 72x, 43x and 33x for the 6, 9, 15 and 20 mm.

The same job as SVBONY's 68-degree set for less, if two degrees of field are not the point
