Sixty-eight millimetres, published

That is the extended barrel length, and it is the figure this whole family usually omits. It enters the back focus budget directly: a telescope that cannot reach focus with 68 mm of adapter in the path will not produce an image at all.

The internal thread

Threaded inside along its whole length rather than painted matt. Light that strikes a smooth bore reflects forward into the image; a thread breaks it up. On a projection adapter directly in front of a sensor, that is not cosmetic.

The camera list, with its exclusion

Canon EOS and Rebel SLR and DSLR bodies, with a T2 ring. EOS-M excluded. Naming what does not fit is more useful than a general compatibility claim, and it reflects a real difference in flange distance.

The assembly order

The maker sets it out step by step: adapter into the extension tube, T-ring into the extension tube, camera onto the adapter, then the assembly into the focuser. Following it matters, because assembling in the wrong order leaves a thread unreachable.

Availability

German, French, Italian and Spanish Amazon stores ran from 20 € to 22 € on the day of the survey.

British Amazon store lists it in local currency, which the euro range above sets aside.
