The claim worth having

No optical elements. Mount adapters that bridge a flange distance sometimes contain a correcting lens, and that lens alters the image. For astronomy — where the telescope is the optic and nothing else should intervene — a purely mechanical adapter is the right answer, and the maker states it.

The mount that the other rings here exclude

Two T-rings on this shelf name Canon EOS R as incompatible. This one is made for it. The RF mount’s shorter flange distance is exactly why a separate part is needed rather than the same ring with a different face.

The arithmetic behind the thickness

T2 places the sensor 55 mm behind the thread face. RF places it closer to the bayonet than EF does, so the adapter has to be correspondingly thicker. That thickness is not published, and it is the figure that would let the whole train be added up on paper.

What still has to come from elsewhere

The telescope end. This part terminates in a T2 female thread; a nosepiece, a projection adapter or a reducer that ends in T2 male is what connects it to the instrument.
