Both halves in one box

A T-ring for the camera bayonet and a 1.25 in to M42 coupling for the focuser. Those are the two parts prime-focus photography needs, and they are usually bought separately — which is why the first attempt so often stops for want of one of them.

The rotating inner ring

It lets the camera body be turned relative to the telescope without breaking the thread. On a tightly framed lunar shot that is the difference between a usable composition and one that runs off the frame.

The listing, read carefully

The compatibility list contains real Canon model names alongside entries that do not resolve — “T4ki” and “Rebeliii1” among them. Five bullets are blank, and two repeat. The safest check is the bayonet itself rather than the list.

What is missing

Length, weight and thread pitch. The first two decide balance and focus reach; the third is standard for a T-ring and is still worth publishing.

Availability

German, French and Spanish Amazon stores ran from 16 € to 21 € on the day of the survey.

British Amazon store lists it in local currency, which the euro range above sets aside.

Italian Amazon store stood above 1.6× the cheapest country. A gap that size normally means stock forwarded from abroad rather than a seller on the ground, so that figure is left out of the range above.

American Amazon store gave no result whatever, so the buy button there opens a search rather than an empty page.
