A reducer that screws onto an eyepiece

M28.5 × 0.6 — the same thread a 1.25 in filter uses. It threads onto the eyepiece nose, so the reduction happens before the eyepiece rather than in the imaging train. That is the simplest way to widen the field on a long telescope.

The exclusions, stated plainly

Very fast telescopes and wide-angle eyepieces. Both are real limits of a simple reducer: the first because the light cone is too steep to correct, the second because the field edge falls outside what the small element covers. Saying so in the listing is worth noting.

The text that is not its own

The five bullets appear word for word on another 0.5x reducer sold here by a different name. They are accurate about the category and were not written about this example.

The blanks in the listing

Clear aperture, element count and the spacing at which the 0.5x figure applies. Those would decide how it performs; the naming of the thread is the most precise thing in the listing.

British Amazon store lists it in local currency, which the euro range above sets aside.

American Amazon store gave no result whatever, so the buy button there opens a search rather than an empty page.
