The sizing argument

The maker states it plainly: their cover is cut 3 to 5 cm larger than most on the market, because a cover that is too small tears. That is a correct diagnosis of how these fail — stretched fabric catches the wind and splits at the seams.

Two ways of holding on

Buckled straps underneath and an adjustable drawcord at the centre of the base. Wind getting under a cover is what lifts it off, and closing the bottom is the whole defence.
